World Drybags are defined as hydrating agents that attract moisture from the atmosphere. It absorbs and holds the water to itself by an unique process which transforms moisture into a hard gel. Porous adsorbents, such as silica gel, activated clay or molecular sieves rely upon physical adsorption to perform their function but still loose moisture when the molecules of the raw material saturates, World Drybag developed these unique desiccants which guarantees protection against this problem.

Desiccants are used when transporting cargo to decrease the risk of cargo damage due to condensation "cargo sweat".
