RJB Drybags 1000™ square models are based on the proven ability of calcium chloride to aggressively remove moisture from the air. The absorbed water is bound into a gel so that no liquid water is formed. It starts working as soon as it is removed from its sealed packaging. It can hang high up in the container to absorb the rising moisture and not to take up unnecessary spaces. Easy to install and remove, due to the hook system.
This square model has been developed for customers who wish to avoid contact between dressing materials and her goods. In some cases this is desirable. The product mainly absorbs rising moisture in the empty space above the load.
This model container desiccant can be used for any type of cargo, but is mainly used to reduce the risk of damage on top of the load, such as food transports in dry containers.
The absorbing agent is calcium chloride (CaCl2). The calcium chloride absorbs moisture from the surrounding air passing in through its outer breathable packaging material. The viscous gel ensures absorbed moisture stays in the product.

Environment, CSR & REACH
The desiccant is a single-use product and can be disposed as regular waste because safely sourced natural resources are used. The calcium chloride and gelling agents are non-toxic and the polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) plastics are recyclable.
The products are registered REACH coordinated by the European Chemical Agency, ECHA. These products are inspected by the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (Ilent) per member state in the European Union.
